Manuel Akanji

Manuel Akanji was born on 19 July 1995 in Neft­enbach and holds Swiss and Nigerian citizenship. He began his professional career on 26 April 2014 and progressed through Switzerland’s under-20 and under-21 national teams. He represented Switzerland, winning the English Premier League twice, the English FA Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
