Axel Witsel

Axel Witsel was born on 12 January 1989 in Liège, Belgium. He began his professional career in 2006 and spent the 2017/18 season with Tianjin Tianhai (-2019). He represented Belgium and progressed through the under-17, under-18 and under-19 national teams. He is a two-time Belgian champion, German DFB-Pokal winner and German DFL-Supercup winner.
